Kate Bush has recently confirmed that her new album is scheduled to drop on November 21st.
’50 Words for Snow’ consists of all new music and was recorded while the star was also working on her album ‘Director’s Cut.’ A hint of the upcoming album was made earlier this year by EMI Chairman Mark Poston, who subtly told his employees to hear more from Bush before the year was over.

“Kate Bush does things at her own pace,” Poston told one news reporter. “Prepare for a November release.”
’50 Words for Snow’ is a surprisingly short album, featuring a total of seven songs and running for only 65 minutes. The concept behind the album was to have songs that could be played “against falling snow.” The track-listing includes the songs “Snowflake,” “Misty,” “Lake Tahoe,” “Among Angels,” “50 Words for Snow,” “Wildman,” and “Snowed in at Wheeler Street.”
‘Director’s Cut’ was a well received release. The album consisted of previously written but re-recorded material by Bush, featuring four tracks from her album ‘Sensual World’ and seven additional songs from ‘The Red Shoes.’ The album debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. Having reached silver status in the UK, ‘Director’s Cut’ also made the Top 10 of various charts across Europe.
’50 Words for Snow’ is scheduled to release just one month before winter begins.
