Rolling Stones guitarist has confirmed that he will participating in a rehearsal involving other members of the renowned rock group.
Bandmates Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will be joining Richards for a jam session at a London studio. It has not been confirmed whether or not frontman Mick Jagger will be joining the rest of the group, but Richards remains hopeful.

“Mick’s welcome,” Richards said. “I’m sure he’ll turn up.”
Announcement of the studio session leaves fans wondering if the band, who have not performed together in nearly four years, will be giving a special concert to mark the 50th anniversary of the group’s performance. While Richards hinted toward the idea early this year, Jagger seemed less than enthusiastic of the idea.
Richards and Jagger’s friendship came to an end after years of strain when the guitarist commented about the size of Jagger’s manhood, noting that fellow musical performer Marianne Faithful did not enjoy her sexual encounter with the Stones frontman. Jagger eventually went on to comment that Richards would not be invited to a commemorative concert if the group was to host one.
The Rolling Stones tore up the music scene in the 60s and 70s with hit songs such as “Paint It Black,” “Satisfaction,” “Can’t Always Get What You Want,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” They are set to revive their album ‘Some Girls,’ reissuing the record on November 21.
