Tickets for the UK leg of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball tour are now on sale and in high demand.
Lady Gaga confirmed earlier this week that she will be performing on September 8th in London at Twickenham Stadium. She announced a September 11th show at the Manchester Arena, followed by a third and final UK show on September 15th at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium. A number of European tour dates have already been confirmed and it is expected that additional dates may be added due to high demand.
The Born This Way Ball tour will launch on April 27th and consists of more than 100 tour dates across the globe. The tour kicks off in Seoul, South Korea, and will feature stops in Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia. Europe will see the majority of the singer’s tour dates. The Born This Way Ball tour will not head stateside until January 2013, where the singer will continue her tour before concluding it in March.
Lady Gaga has spent much of her mainstream career on the road. She toured from March through September 2009 with The Fame Ball, followed by The Monster Ball, which extended from the end of 2009 through 2011. The Monster Ball tour consisted of 201 shows, 119 of which were given in Europe.
Lady Gaga announced early this year that her Born This Way Ball tour would be something different and more memorable. The Monster Pit is a new addition to Lady Gaga shows for the Born This Way Ball tour and it remains unknown if the Pit will be a permanent fixture at all Gaga concerts.
The Pit, as described by Lady Gaga herself, is a designated area for the most dedicated of Little Monsters. The Monster Pit will be general admission, meaning that there is no additional cost to get in it. Haus of Gaga will then select at random a few lucky Little Monsters to go backstage after the show for a meet-and-greet with their favorite female superstar.
Tickets for the UK leg of Lady Gaga’s tour will run £90-£190.
