The singer made her comeback appearance on “The Voice.” While the singer feels that her performance went well, many viewers believe that the performance was mimed. The Girls Aloud singer took the stage to sing her latest single, “Call My Name.” Cheryl’s management team feel that the performance went well, but audience members feel that Chezza’s singing was too good to have been an actual live performance.
So what does Cheryl have to say about the lip-sync rumors? She delivered a special interview where she addressed the issue.
“If you think my live vocal sounds so good it must be mimed, I’m happy,” the singer said. “I take it as a compliment.”
Cheryl’s dedication to her career was made known earlier this week after she granted one interview. During the interview, the singer admitted that she would have had a family by now if she had not chosen to pursue her solo recording career.
“I was married at the time,” Cheryl said.
She then explained that statistics were stacked against her to be a successful solo recording artist, but manager Will.i.am pushed her, insisting that she was more than ready to take on the world.
