Today the BBC have confirmed that power pop star Bonnie Tyler will take to the stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 to represent the United Kingdom. This year the contest will be held in Sweden and Tyler has taken a track from her new album, Rocks And Honey, will she be able to pull it off.

Most people will know Bonnie Tyler for her most popular track, Total Eclipse Of The Heart and her upbeat track, Holding Out For A Hero. Well the new track from Bonnie is a slower power pop classic called, Believe In Me. With the United Kingdom usually failing to make headway in this competition can we really believe in her?

The Eurovision experts definitely believe in Bonnie Tyler:

“Bonnie could easily finish in the top 10 with this power ballad. She has decades of experience so should be able to pull this off with aplomb.”

The 58th Annual Eurovision Song Contest will be held at Malmö between May 14 and 18. Watch the Official Uk Track for the contest below…
