The Mint’s 2018 Voyageurs National Park Quarter, Three-Coin Set to be released June 19 at noon

On June 19, 2018, at 12 noon (ET), the Mint is set to release the 2018 Voyageurs National Park Quarter, Three-Coin Set (18AF). Voyageurs National Park is the third national site to be featured this year in the Mint’s product releases and the 43rd to be released in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The set features an Uncirculated quarter from the Denver and Philadelphia mints and a Proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint. Each coin possesses a reeded edge and is composed of 8.33% nickel and balance copper. The set possesses no mintage, product, or household order limits and retails for $9.95 on the Mint’s website.

The reverse design of the quarters features a common loon in the foreground and a rock cliff in the background. Inscriptions include VOYAGEURS, MINNESOTA, and E PLURIBUS UNUM and the year, 2018.

The obverse design features a 1932 effigy of George Washington by John Flanagan that was restored. Inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the denomination is QUARTER DOLLAR.

Coins for the 2018 Voyageurs National Park Quarter, Three-Coin Set are held in a plastic card that depicts a lovely view of Voyageurs National Park with an accompanying description of the location and the coins.
